For families
The path to support – transparent and reliable
Starting support takes only a few clear steps. We accompany you from first contact to funding approval and advise you throughout the whole admission process.

First steps
How support begins
- 1
Get in touch
Contact can be made by parents or guardians as well as by the participation service, the youth welfare office or other professionals involved. We advise you without obligation and explain our services and the next steps.
- 2
Personal introductory meeting
In a personal meeting we get to know the child, the family and their individual situation. Together we discuss support needs, goals and suitable services.
- 3
Application for integration support
Parents or guardians submit the application to the responsible youth participation service or youth welfare office. We advise on the procedure and help clarify the individual support needs.
- 4
Funding & start
Once approved, the costs are covered by the responsible funding body. Families usually incur no additional costs for our services.
Application & funding
Legal basis
Our services are provided as outpatient integration support. Funding depends on individual needs and, depending on responsibility, is based on:
Application to the responsible youth participation service (Teilhabefachdienst Jugend).
Integration support for children and young people with (or at risk of) a mental disability, on the basis of an individual agreement. Application to the responsible youth welfare office (Jugendamt).
